John 14:5-6 5Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, how do we know the way?”6Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

John 8:39-47 39They answered and said to Him, “Abraham is our father.” Jesus said to them, “If you are Abraham’s children, do the deeds of Abraham.40“But as it is, you are seeking to kill Me, a man who has told you the truth, which I heard from God; this Abraham did not do.41“You are doing the deeds of your father.” They said to Him, “We were not born of fornication; we have one Father: God.”42Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and have come from God, for I have not even come on My own initiative, but He sent Me.43“Why do you not understand what I am saying? It is because you cannot hear My word.44“You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Ephesians 4:14-16 14As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming;15but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ,16from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.

As we focus more on the LORD who is truth (John 14:6) this week I challenge all to buy the truth and sell it not. In love I ask that as we each go through out the next 3 days that we would make sure we are only speaking and replicating the truth (Jesus) in love. To this end I challenge, in love, each of us regarding commonly recited cliché’s we hear and anything we read on Facebook, to search the scriptures to see if what we’re about to recite, like or re-share has a biblical basis.

I know it’s late in the day but I hope this message reaches you in good spirits and that you take this encouragement with you as you go throughout the rest of your day: Matthew 5:45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

Aren’t you so glad about that scripture and to know that GOD loves us in spite of us and in spite of where we are at in life? Whether sinner or saved, HE still blesses us, all the while gently calling, drawing to himself and continuing to finish the work that he has begun in the lives of his children.

Welcome and hello beautiful, precious and unique women. I hope this message reaches you in good spirits and that you take this encouragement with you as you go throughout the rest of your day: Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

We’re getting this and we're getting that: Gotta get my hair, lashes, nails and Pedi done and I can't forget to get my eyebrows arched. I'm going to the mall to get some new shoes and a fresh outfit. While I'm there I'm a hit up Victoria secrets cause you know they having a sale so I'm finna get some new panties and bras child. Might as well hit up the tattoo parlor as well and gone head and get tatted up too before I hit up Bath and Body Works to get me some stuff from their latest collect...ion. You know what I'm also gonna get my baby ears pierced, get a tongue ring, get a cute belly ring and get my eye brow pierced. On a side I'm so happy that you got the job. Did I tell you we got approved for the loan and my peoples just got a beautiful house around the corner from where we thinking about getting ours. My child just got the acceptance letter, she got in to that good school we been asking the LORD to get her into. All but one got all A's and B's and got Honor Roll. The other got all A's, made the Dean's list and got a nomination for Valedictorian. So I'm gone wait to next year to get me a new car because by then he'll be gone off to school and I'll have more money available to get more of the stuff I want to get. Whew... now I, we, she, he and they got this, that and the other but what about wisdom and understanding. When do we stop and get those?

Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the LORD is where wisdom begins, and knowing holiness demonstrates understanding.

Psalm 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

Welcome and hello beautiful, precious and unique women. I hope this message reaches you in good spirits and that you take this encouragement with you as you go throughout the rest of your day: Psalm 127:1 Except the LORD build the house, they labor in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

Have you ever saw someone you love (especially a family member) heading for destruction and you found yourself doing everything you could to help them get themselves together and turn their life around to no avail? Instead of you seeing a lasting positive change, did your labor of love leave your worn out, often in tears or broken hearted? Have you thought if they will just get themselves together they could be a wonderful person or if they would just get saved we wouldn’t have these problems and so you did everything in your power to help them get right but it seemed like all of your toiling and working was in vain? Well I have and what I found out the hard way is we can’t change people and we can’t get them saved. The LORD is the ONLY ONE that has the power to accomplish such tasks. Our part is to do our part, no more, no less. Obey the word of GOD, fulfill the responsibilities associated with our roles as Mother’s, Sister’s, Wives and friends but to also bring the names of our loved ones before the LORD and ask HIM to have mercy upon them, to keep them from bringing destruction upon themselves, to call them, to draw them to HIMSELF and to trust GOD with the outcome.

You know for a long time I didn’t get that, I just knew I had a charge to keep in TRAINING UP my children in the way that they should go: so that when they are old, they will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6). My expectations based on the way I’m raising them and living before them was that they would grow up to be saved, good, education men, that didn’t cause a lot of turmoil and didn’t necessitate the continual solicitation of prayers on their behalf. As a matter of fact, I never understood why some of the older women would continuously call out the names of multiple people or at least their children during prayer service. I didn’t comprehend the magnitude of my Mother telling me she kept me and my brother before the LORD nor why she encouraged me to KEEP praying for my oldest son (17 years old). Until now! Now I get it. Now I see that it’s vital for me to be like the widow continually worrying the judge (GOD) about my child. It’s now my turn to ask GOD to work on another individual (like HE did with me), to shape and fashion someone else into the creation HE wants them to be and to cease from my heavy laboring because it truly is in vain anyway (it’s fruitless).

I don’t know maybe I’m the only one dealing with a difficult person (people), maybe everyone else already has it all together or has figured all of this out already. If that’s the case then Praise the LORD and those that know the word of prayer please keep my name lifted up in prayer. However if I’m not alone and if anybody else can testify that you’ve toiled and labored with a loved one to no end until GOD stepped in and made the difference or if you’re needing GOD to make the difference then I pray for you right now that GOD will help you and your loved one(s) in Jesus name. I pray that GOD will give you the ability as well as patience to trust HIM fully with your loved ones destiny. I also pray that you will ask GOD to build your loved ones house according to HIS specifications and that you will cease from your heavy labor and let GOD do HIS work, in the mighty name of Jesus the Christ. Amen
