I hope this message reaches you in good spirits and that you take this encouragement with you as you go throughout the rest of your day: Isaiah 1:19-20 If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land; but if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword.” For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.

How many times have we heard the terms: 1 GOD inhabits our praise or 2 when the praises go up the blessings come down. Well that is truth according to these scriptures:

Psalms 22:3 But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel. 1

Psalms 67:5-6 Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. 2

However, GOD says that it is better to obey than to sacrifice: 1 Samuel 15:22 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.

According to the WORD praise is a sacrifice:
Jonah 2:9 But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD.

Hebrews 13:5 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

According to the WORD GOD obedience is greater than praise – (good, better, great). So while we should all give praise unto GOD because it’s due HIM and HE’s more than worthy of it HE wants us to live in total obedience to HIM and HIS word (Jesus).

Jesus helps us to more clearly understand the importance of obedience by saying “If ye love me keep my commandments. John 14:15

Further the word declares: And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love. 2 John 1:6

So Beautiful, Precious and Unique Women may we each seek to please GOD in every way we can while still in our human bodies and one sure way to do that is to obey him. If we don’t already have it all together can we take some time to reflect on our lives and see if there are areas where we’re not completely obeying GOD on today? If we identify any can we submit to GOD in that area, surrender our will to HIS and ask HIM to place in us an obedient heart so we can better please HIM. (I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you. I will remove your stubborn hearts and give you obedient hearts. Ezekiel 26:26 - GODS Word Translation). Remember the scripture says If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land. Who doesn’t want that so I pray right now that GOD will help us to obey HIS commands in Jesus Name.

For I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in obedience to him, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the LORD your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess. Deuteronomy 30:16

I hope this message reaches you in good spirits and that you take this encouragement with you as you go throughout the rest of your day: Psalms 91:14 “Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows my name.
Because he (she) loves me and knows my name –

If we love GOD the way Jesus commands us to in Luke 10:27: He answered, "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"

 

... If we know whose name to put our trust in as declared in:

Psalms 9:10 And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you.

 

Psalms 20:1 To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. May the LORD answer you in the day of trouble! May the name of the God of Jacob protect you!

 

then GOD says, HE will deliver and protect us. What a wonderful and uplifting conditional promise! LORD help us to continuously love YOU and know YOUR name so YOU Abba, Father can constantly fulfill this promise in our lives. In Jesus name. Amen

Hello beautiful, precious and unique women. I hope this message reaches you in good spirits and that you take this encouragement with you as you go throughout the rest of your day: Luke 22:31-34 “Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded permission to sift you like wheat; but I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail; and when once you have turned again, strengthen your brothers.” But he said to Him, “Lord, with You I am ready to go both to prison and to death!” And He said, “I say to you, Peter, the rooster will not crow today until you have denied three times that you know Me.”

When sifting grain, the grain was agitated or shaken in a kind of fan or sieve. The grain remained in the fan, and the chaff and dust were thrown off. So Christ says that Satan desired to try Peter; to place trials and temptations before him; "to agitate him" to see whether anything of faith would remain, or whether all would not be found to be chaff - mere natural ordor and false professions.

The purpose of sifting is to remove that which is not good and to isolate that which is most important or useful. One of the works of Satan is to sift those who profess the name of Christ.  He continues to try the faith of believers and places temptations as well as trials in their way that they may be tested.

Those who are living to have eternal life must expect to be afflicted, assaulted and sifted by Satan. If He cannot destroy us, He will try to disgrace or distress us and He uses schemes, strategies, tactics, wiles and the attributes, qualities, character or attacks of certain people in our life path in His efforts. As my Pastor often says Satan is a worthy opponent!  But, Mighty is the only wise GOD and greater is HE that is in us (believers) than he that is in the world.

Fortunately  for us, GOD in HIS infinite wisdom, knowing how Satan works, had Paul give us this warning in Hebrews 12:1-3 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne. Think of all the hostility he endured from sinful people, then you won’t become weary and give up.

In looking at these passages most of us probably understand that we need to lay aside our willful sin but what is the weight?  As I dug for more information on weight,  this is what I saw: it’s EVERYTHING that might HINDER us in the Christian race!  Do schemes, strategies, tactics, wiles and the attributes, qualities, character or attacks of certain people in our life path hinder us in the Christian race? Sometimes yes and that’s what makes them effective in the work Satan is doing.  Further, weight is heaviness or burden (worry, deep or lingering hurt).  A weight depressing the mind to the earth, and a GREAT HINDERANCE IN THE WORK AND SERVICE OF GOD, and therefore to be laid aside; not that they are to be entirely rejected, and not cared for and used, but the heart should not be set upon them, or be over anxious about them.  When I saw this, it gave me comfort and resolve about this mind set “It’s about Jesus” and the song I posted in the group earlier this week where Shirley Murdock says “There isn’t anything that is going to stop me from being all that GOD has called me to be.” Some of you are called to a higher place than what you are walking in now. Some of you are already walking in what GOD has called you to walk in but just as Satan wanted to sift Peter to keep him from fulfilling the mission of the LORD on the earth so is Satan using schemes, tactics, strategies, wiles and yes PEOPLE to sift us and keep you and I from fulfilling ours.

I’m talking to myself this morning because I finally realize this but GOD doesn’t just want me to get this or else it wouldn’t be on this post. On July 6, 2012 Carla Crumb posted in this group “I pray to overcome the sifting that satan would try to bring into the lives of the Women On The Rise Evangelistic Movement in Your name Jesus. Amen!!!!!!!” This year while going through the post to pull them over to a blog I saw her comment and it ministered to me.  You see this Group is about women, it’s for women and the issues that we face. It’s about advice and ultimately healing because so many women are hurting. That’s what GOD began to let me see when I was hurting. As I was long suffering through a trial and looking for answers I searched the internet and saw that so many women were going through the same thing I was going through and from the content contained in their messages it was clear that they were hurting.  I remember being in a particular Women’s Ministry Meeting and  when I looked on the faces of the women I didn’t see much joy. When I listen to others, unsaved, saved and in ministry I see and hear hurting women.  As I was thinking about my life earlier this week and all the hurt I’ve gone through I began to pray and cry because it just didn’t make sense. But GOD has a way of tying things together for us and putting things in perspective. That thing that has been hurting us over and over and over is the enemy Satan trying to sift us and keep us from walking in GOD’s perfect will for our life which includes peace. Now that I know this I am and can look at some things differently. Now I see why some people have the mindset of WHATEVER because they are not going to let anything keep them from walking in their GOD desired Destiny and neither should you and nor should I. Please cast whatever it is off today!

Welcome and hello beautiful, precious and unique women. I hope this message reaches you in good spirits and that you take this encouragement with you as you go throughout the rest of your day: Proverbs 14:1 Every wise woman builds her house: but the foolish plucks it down with her hands.

How does a wise woman build her house?
Proverbs 24:3 By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established;

Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the LORD is where wisdom begins, and knowing holiness demonstrates understanding.
Psalm 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

According to the scriptures wisdom at its very base is the fear of the LORD.

How does the foolish woman pluck her house down with her own hands?
Proverbs 9:13 The foolish woman is loud, undisciplined, and without knowledge (undisciplined –reads seductive in ESV).

Jeremiah 5:4 I thought, "These are only the poor; they are foolish, for they do not know the way of the LORD, the requirements of their God.
Hosea 4:14 "I will not punish your daughters when they turn to prostitution, nor your daughters-in-law when they commit adultery, because the men themselves consort with harlots and sacrifice with shrine prostitutes-- a people without understanding will come to ruin! (without understanding-reads as foolish in NLT and GOD’s WORD).
2 Timothy 3:6 For some of these men go into homes and deceive foolish women who are burdened with sins and swayed by all kinds of desires.

According to the scriptures foolishness or folly is a lack of or without understanding, not knowing the way of the LORD or the requirements of GOD. According to the scriptures foolishness brings people to ruin.

I don’t know to how many this is for but I have to write as instructed. What kind of woman are you? It doesn’t matter what you started out as or what you used to be, but what kind of woman are you today? Who have you chosen to be?

As a women who has great influence over others around you, have you set your heart to know wisdom?

The bible declares in Proverbs 16:21 The wise in heart will be called understanding, and sweetness of speech increases persuasiveness. Because Solomon set his heart to know understanding GOD gave him a wise and understanding heart such as no one else has had or ever will have! (1 King 3:12). GOD also made Solomon the greatest king that ever lived. (1 Kings 10:23-24). Wisdom made the women in Proverbs 31 surpass or excell all other women (Proverbs 31:29). Have you received wisdom of which understanding goes hand in hand with? Do you have the fear of the LORD and keeping GOD’s commandments operating in your life?

If so praise you woman! If not GOD wants you to, HE loves you and knowing what wisdom is you are invited to obtain wisdom and knowledge today by believing in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and praying this prayer right where you are: Dear God in Heaven, I come to you confessing that Jesus is LORD and believing that Jesus Christ died on the cross for man’s sins to include my sins. I open my heart and invite Jesus to come in to be my personal Lord and Savior. LORD forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Teach me Your Word and fill me with the power of the Holy Spirit. Give me wisdom, with understanding, and show me how to live a victorious life. I thank you, LORD, because I am born again and saved through the blood Jesus shed on the cross at Calvary. My name is now written in Your book, in Jesus Name, Amen.

Then, find a church near you right away, teaching the TRUTH, and be baptized: Acts 2:38 KJV: “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”
